2. Well Pump Repair »

The water pump in your well is the engine that pushes the water to your house.  If your water pump is broken, damaged, or too small for your needs, you will experience low water pressure or no water at all.  We can investigate your pump to understand what the issue is.  If the engine has died, burnt out, is not pumping efficiently, or isn’t getting enough electricity, we can repair or replace the well pump.
Luckily, pump repair is unusual, most well-made pumps will last 15 – 20 years without any issues.

3. Pump Replacements »

Supply and demand can sometimes be the issue with a well pump. If your home or business needs more water than what the pump can provide, then you will experience low water pressure or other issues.  We will explore the output of your pump and see if the output that your pump can provide matches what you need, and discuss well pump replacement options.
There can be other issues as well, as the pump and the well are only one possible cause.  You might also be suffering from a well that is running dry.

5. Dry Well Services »

Navigating the complexities of dry wells in areas with fluctuating aquifer levels can be daunting. Siskiyou Pump Service provides forward-thinking options like drilling new wells or implementing holding tanks to ensure a reliable water supply. Additionally, experiencing low water pressure doesn’t necessarily indicate a dry well; it could also stem from mechanical issues within the system.

6. Holding Tanks: A Strategic Alternative »

A holding tank can be a more effective solution than drilling deeper or drilling a new well. A holding tank can collect water from your source all day and store it so your low-flow source can supply water when your water demand is high (during irrigation). With a holding tank, a well that would otherwise run low in areas of high demand can store water so that it is ready when the demand arises.

7. Well Cleaning »

There are many reasons why our customers decide to clean their water wells.  Often times the well pump has failed due to large amounts of debris in the well, in order to protect the investment of the new pump equipment the debris has to be removed from the well.  Another common reason for well cleaning is lower than normal water production in the well due to bacteria or biofouling.  Mineral or scale build up can also affect water production, and we have the ability to clean a well that has been oil contaminated.

We also perform well and whole home chlorination to sanitize and disinfect the well pump equipment and water pipes in the home.

The process of properly cleaning a water well includes many steps which require specialized equipment and training.  Typically the well pump equipment is removed from the well and a series of brushes are used to scrub the inside of the well casing and the well bore.  Many times, specialized cleaning solutions are used while “brushing” the well.  After brushing the well, compressed air is used with a cleaning nozzle to allow us to vacuum the loose debris from the bottom of the well. We can also “surge block” the well which often helps to clean the water veins that feed the well.  Once all of the debris is removed, new equipment or the existing well pump equipment can be installed back into the well.

WHAT TO DO NEXT »

The initial step in addressing well repair or pump issues involves a thorough inspection of the well and its components to identify problems. Siskiyou Pump deploys a well probe to assess water levels and potential output, conducts flow tests to measure water output, and performs amp tests on the well and pump to verify their efficiency. To arrange an inspection or to discuss further with a Siskiyou Pump Service expert, you can contact them at 541-664-4660.

What Our Customers Are Saying

“I want to take the opportunity to thank you for the work you did, for your recommendations and for the efficient way that the job was completed. Given that I have only recently become a ‘country girl’, I was at the mercy for anyone who might have tried to convince me the ‘best’ way to go. Your advice and thorough explanation reduced my anxiety and let me know that you completed the job in a way that you would have done for yourself. In addition, I am reassured that the system you introduced is up for the job and will endure for years to come. Finally, I know that should any question or issues arise, you and your team are just a phone call away. It was a pleasure doing business with you.”
